Then Sings My Soul Saturday with Signature Sound

The week-end is here! Let your soul sing starting right now by joining Amy, our lovely hostess for Then Sings My Soul Saturday for some real "soul" music and stories!

I really, really like these wonderful young men, not just because they have beautiful voices, but I sense they are beautiful people that sing what their hearts feel. They have been traveling with the Gaithers for a few years and also do their own concerts around the country. Unfortunately, they don't visit California nearly as much as I would like them to, but when they do come here, hubby and I are in the front row! I thought about saving this one for Easter, but we bought the dvd at one of the concerts we attended, and were watching it tonight. It not only speaks of the beautiful morning of the resurrection, but it also reminds me that His mercies are new every morning. What a wonderful grace we live under!

God bless everyone...have a wonderful, spirit filled week-end!

Mary

  2. "Death has lost and morning has come!" Amen, amen, amen.

I'm so glad that you posted this one today Mary. Yours is the first TSMSS I visited this morning and I'm already praising our Lord instead of even fixing my first cup of coffee. What a wonderful beginning to my Saturday.

Thank you Mary for your kind and loving heart. Although we've only begun to follow one another's blogs for a short time, I want you to know that I value and appreciate every comment you leave on Heart Choices.

I believe we have much in common. Too bad you couldn't drop by and we could have coffee, girl talk and ...prayer.

    Love and hugs,
    Debbie

  6. Mary, this is such beautiful music. I haven't heard them before. I am familiar with a lot of gospel singers, but these guys must have slipped under my radar.

I see over on your sidebar that you love the Gaithers. My cousin is a minister, and he and his wife adores the Gaithers. For their 60th birthdays, they went on a Gaither cruise. They had the best time!

I like the one who has the long, silver hair (can't think of his name right now), but he has the most beautiful voice and the sweetest countenance. They have had some amazing singers over the years including Larnelle Harris (my favorite) and Sandi Patty (another fave).

I need to post with you all on this one Saturday.

    XO,

    Sheila :-)

  7. Blessings Mary, I so enjoyed these beautiful new voices (to me)! The message is so beautiful too! We are so privileged not only to live under His grace but to behold all of the JOY to worship Him freely & count our blessings & mercies that fortunately are new every morning!
I'm glad that you did not wait until Easter! This was a pure JOY! Thank you for blessing me with this new group and this song! Listening to others on YouTube as I write...wonderful! May God continue to shed His grace on us!

  8. This is beautiful! Oh, Mary, it's such a perfect message.
And I think the Easter message is appropriate at any time of year, and especially so at Thanksgiving time. We have so much to be thankful for to Him.

And also with Christmas almost upon us, I always think about His Mother and how frightened she must have been, and how much she must have loved her little Baby Boy, and all she tried to do to care for Him and protect Him all His life. And I've always thought of how she knew He would make things right at the wedding in Cana, she knew her Son so well. They must have had such a special relationship. And then to think of the Sorrowful Mother during the Passion of her Son.
And then the joy at His Resurrection, the joy that we all share in!

    Beautiful post, Mary!
    Love and Prayers,
    Eileen
