Thank You to Our Brave Veterans

PLEASE visit Connie at
http://connie-livingbeautifully.blogspot.com/ and watch her video...you'll love it!

I want to give my heartfelt thanks to all veterans that have served in the armed forces on behalf of my wonderful United States of America. My heart bursts when I hear our national anthem, or when I see our flag raised and flying in the air, or when I see one of our best in uniform...they represent freedom, they represent courage, and they represent America.

"It is the soldier, not the reporter,
Who has given us freedom of the press.
It is the soldier, not the poet,
Who has given us freedom of speech.
It is the soldier, not the campus organizer,
Who has given us the freedom to demonstrate.

It is the soldier,
Who salutes the flag,
Who serves beneath the flag,
and whose coffin is draped by the flag,
Who allows the protester to burn the flag

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

  5. Came back by to hear this again this morning, Mary, and it's even more awesome the second time around. I love our military SO much, and I bless them and their families who sacrifice that we might be free. It just makes me feel so proud of and grateful to them in the light of all that they do.

    XO,

    Sheila :-)

  17. I bow to all veterans worldwide. If it wasn't for their unselfishly courageous contribution to protect and defend us, we wouldn't be able to enjoy this blissful day. Thank you darling for posting this special day.
