Happy Friday, everyone! Its time for Barb’s Rooster Party, at www.bellavista.blogspot.com,
AND time for Janice’s Chippy Paint Friday, at www.thefadedcottage.blogspot.com!
I have the perfect roosters for both occasions…and they are so anxious to meet you!
This shabby rooster usually sits on top of the refrigerator, as he stand guard over the kitchen. I let him down for pictures, since he was a little difficult to photograph way up there!
I bought this lamp at T.J. Maxx on clearance for only $20! I really like the crackle finish.
I bought this rooster lamp at Home Goods about 4 years ago for $100. I was feeling pretty guilty til I saw it in a decorating magazine, selling for about $300!
One of my favorite roosters is this green guy…he’s all wood and has an aged look about him. He seems to be very intent on that speck on the table…mmm…a crumb!
Another great Home Goods buy, a little candy dish, adorned with another white shabby rooster! My granddaughter has a habit of hiding my jewelry in it…when I can’t find a pendant or chain, this is the first place I look!
I hope you have a great time seeing all the roosters and chippy paints…there’s always so many wonderful home accessories to delight our eyes here in blogland, and today should be a lot of fun.
Please don’t forget that we have people in our blogging community that need our prayers…Amy, Andrew, Rachel, Ceekay, and more. You can find some of them on my sidebar…please visit them to get more information on the specific needs and let them know you are praying for them. Please remember to pray for our troops and their families. Keep our country in yours prayers, that our leaders are wise and cautious in making serious decisions for our nation.
God bless you all! My tea cottage is always open, and you are always welcome…I always have the tea kettle on and scones in the oven. Come back and visit soon!
