Happy Friday, everyone! I'm joining my sweet friend, Janice, at the Faded Cottage for her last episode of Chippy Paint Friday! I don't have a lot of chippy paint items, and Janice has run out of her own beautites to show you, so this is it. I'm going tomiss it. So today, be sure to visit Janice ....just click on that cute little shabby dog to the right, and see what she has to show you!

I love this little bird bell that I got at the Home and Garden Show a few years ago. I use it to get the kids out of the pool. If they don't get out right away, I keep ringing til they do, because they hate the noise!
For me, this is the last thing I could find in my house that has paint chipped here and there. I love the shabby look of anything with chipped paint, but never really got into it til blogging, and now I'm on the hunt for all things old, chipped, and white!
Have a wonderful Labor Day, everyone, and enjoy your long holiday week-end safely. Remember that it's not you out there that's going to cause that accident...it's someone else that's being careless by drinking and driving, or texting while driving...you get the picture, right?
I'll be back tomorrow with something pink...in the meantime, I'm praying that you all experience the blessings of God in your life.
Please pray for our Congress as they come back to the table for discussion on the Health Care Bill. This is a much more serious situation than our health care...there are many other conditions in the bill, including IRS involvement in your payment of your health care. I heard and read yesterday that everyone will required to have and pay for health care, whether you choose to or not. I know people that don't choose to pay for it, but that option will be gone, and IRS will step in to take the money out of your bank account...please educate yourself on this bill, and let your voice be heard...before it's too late, and you get something you didn't really understand or want.
God bless!!!!
Mary
What a cute little bell. I am surely on the look out for one myself. Have a blessed day and a wonderful holiday weekend.

Hi Mary,
ReplyDeleteYou always amaze with your generosity of support!!
Cute little bell and what a great idea to use it as. I can just imagine the kids trying to get out of the pool as fast as they can, before you ring the bell again, I laughed out loud when I read that!!
Thanks for joining in for my final episode of Chippy Paint Fridays.
Sweets to you, Janice
I have a bell like that, except it is black, but I don't have a pool for the kids. I surely agree with your prayer for our government. It is a confusing time. The possibilities are scary. Blessings

Love your bell, and as I read about the chipped paint I had to smile because today we had our tub re sprayed. The shower doors had to come off and the track (white) the paint is all chipped so my DH spent the morning scraping and painting them LOL. Some places chipped paint is not good.
ReplyDeleteI love this bell my friend! Awesome piece! I wish it was mine!
ReplyDeleteDid I just covet?
I pray not! ;)

Hello Mary, what a cute bell. I'm not completely convinced about the charms of chipped, but I sometimes can see their appeal :o)
ReplyDeleteLeaders everywhere needs our prayers.
God bless you too.

I love your bird bell, and I too like anything white and paint chipped...have a wonderful weekend and I will pray for all of your leaders to make the proper decisions for every American and not just a few. Everyone deserves to receive care when sick nor should anyone, because they are unfortunate enough to be sick should they have to go bankrupt. God Bless all of you. I wonder what would Jesus do in this situation.....it is such a complex situation..
ReplyDelete......:-) Hugs
OH~~~ I have this exact bell, I just love it. Your home is so pretty, it inspires me. I have never been to a Beth Moore event, but I love your studies.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day,
Ginger
