I hope you are all doing great this wonderful pre Christmas week-end...that your shopping is finished, and you are enjoying a peaceful time reflecting on the gifts you've already received this year...health, family, food, and shelter.
Please join me as I fill my morning with song by visiting Amy for Then Sings My Soul Saturdays. I wasn't going to participate today, as I am still very busy, but I found this video and had to share with you.
We know it isn't Santa that brings them home, so please join me as I pray for our wonderful soldiers, that He will bring some home, and those that cannot come home for Christmas will feel the love of their families from far away, and that they feel the presence of God walking with them...that they are covered with a blanket of His protection as they sacrifice their comfort, and sometimes their lives, with their courage and dedication to the freedom that has been given to us by Almighty God.
May the good Lord bless each and every one of you.
Mary

ReplyDeleteBlessings and prayers,

PS: please check out Sitka's blog. He has a prayer request on All Gods Creatures. We need a forever home for an abandoned Lab.
Also, on arise 2 write, I am featuring Sarah, a bloggy friend who wrote a book about God's healing her heart and soul from abuse, etc.
Mary,
ReplyDeletePlease pray. I just had a woman contact me about the black lab. He is in the Richmond Va area and she is in SC. But I could drive him to SC if I need to or maybe she could meet me half way. I am working with her. It breaks my heart, too. Sitka and I decided he should write about it, today. I place dogs all the time, but the bigger ones are so much harder to place. I will keep you posted. Keep a check on sitka's blog. If we find a home, I will let sitka tell about it.
Blessings and hugs, andrea
Mary, I want Santa to bring my soldier home, too! Thanks so much for this...

ReplyDeleteWe were in your neck of the woods Thursday I think it was..into Walnut Creek to the Harley dealer there (funny, I couldn't get him to go to any quilt shops!) and the snow was still looking lovely in Mt. Diablo!
